President’s Message May 2011
Welcome to the Presidents Page of the Old Raineians’ Association web site.
Most of you know me already as I have been on the committee for years and have previously served as President in 2006.
Thanks to Sandra Johnson for her hard work, not just for the past 2 years as President but over the decades she has been
involved, organising events and tirelessly fundraising.
My term as President starts with a new initiative - sponsorship. The ORA has no income apart from life subscriptions
and donations. Old Raineian Raymond Gregory has proposed to become this year's sponsor and is generously funding the 2011 AGM.
It's a great idea and if anyone is interested in following Raymond's example, please let me know.
The committee is the smallest it's been for years and I encourage you to join us to help keep the ORA alive and interesting.
